SKC separates semantic structure from redundant representation. The goal is not arbitrary size reduction, but a compact semantic core that can be reconstructed and evaluated against the original knowledge structure.

Semantic compression is not semantic omniscience.

SKC can evaluate preservation within its represented semantic boundary. It does not claim that the representation captures every possible meaning or interpretation.

  • SKC does not prove that the source knowledge itself is factually correct.
  • SKC does not prove that every possible human interpretation has been preserved.
  • Compression ratios are meaningful only relative to the defined source and reconstruction basis.
  • Reconstruction fidelity depends on what information is represented inside the semantic boundary.
  • Determinism applies to the defined transformation and reconstruction process, not to unspecified external context.
